Alchemy is an ancient branch of natural philosophy, based on the supposed transformation of matter. This collection, with its medieval forerunner of chemistry namesake, is full of beautiful patterns and artwork. From cover to cover, the papers are filled with rusty metallic colors, suns, moons, compasses, background script, owls, numbers (true for alchemy) and an overall steampunk vibe.
